Ingredients:

– 2 (1/2-inch thick) slices rustic bread – 1/4 cup Real California Cottage Cheese (4% milkfat) – 1 ripe fresh avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and cut into small dice – 2 teaspoons diced ripe tomato – 1 teaspoons snipped fresh basil – Freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions:

Serves: 2

Prep time: 5 minutes

Toast bread and spread with diced avocado. Top with cottage cheese. Sprinkle with tomato, olives, and basil. Season with pepper. Makes 2 servings.
