– 1 cup Real California butter, softened – 3/4 cup granulated sugar – 3/4 cup packed brown sugar – 2 large eggs – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1 teaspoon salt – 1 package Trader Joe's® Cranberry Trail Mix (16 ounces) – 1 cup chopped walnuts

1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugars until fluffy.

2. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; mix into butter mixture to blend thoroughly.

3. Mix in trail mix and walnuts to distribute evenly.

4. Drop generous tablespoons of dough, spaced 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.

5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.

6. Cool on pans 10 minutes, then remove to racks to cool completely.

Makes about 5 Dozen Cookies
