Chocolate Covered Raisin Oatmeal Cookies



– 1 cup Real California butter, softened – 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed – 3/4 cup sugar – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 2 eggs – 2 cups flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 2 cups old fashioned oats – 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips – 1 1/4 cups dark chocolate covered raisins

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large bowl until creamy.

3. Add eggs and beat well.

4. In separate bowl, stir together flour and baking soda; set aside.

5. In a blender or food processor, finely chop oats until they are the texture of flour.

6. Stir oats into dry ingredients and add to butter mixture; mix well.

7. Stir in chocolate chips and chocolate covered raisins.

8. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.

9. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes or until tops are golden brown.

10. Cool to room temperature on cookie sheets.
