California Mozzarella Gateau with Strawberries



– 250 grams Real California whole milk Mozzarella cheese – ½ cup flour – 2 eggs, beaten – 1 cup breadcrumbs – 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced – 4 tablespoons honey – ½ cup dehydrated pineapple – 100 grams roasted sliced almonds – ½ cup strawberry coulis – Palm oil for frying – Edible flowers for garnish Strawberry Coulis: – ½ cup fresh strawberries – ¼ cup water – 2 tablespoons white sugar :Mozzarella, International, Filipino, Fruit

Make strawberry coulis. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Set aside.

Cut Mozzarella cheese into 3 round pieces. Dust with flour, dip completely in egg mixture and roll in breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil.

Layer Mozzarella with strawberries on plate, pour honey over top.

Garnish with dehydrated pineapple, almonds and edible flowers. Cut into four and serve with strawberry coulis.
