– 2 slices rustic white bread – 2 tablespoons California butter, softened – 2 ounces fresh California Mozzarella, thinly sliced – 1 ounce California aged Cheddar, thinly sliced

Preheat a medium skillet over medium low heat.

Generously butter one side of a slice of bread. Place the bread butter-side-down onto skillet bottom and add the various slices of cheese.

Butter a second slice of bread on one side and place butter-side-up on top of sandwich.

Grill until lightly browned and flip over; continue grilling until cheese is melted and both sides are golden brown.

Note: The key to an amazing grilled cheese is cooking it slow and low! That means it will take a few minutes over low heat and will be grilled to perfection!
