California Dairy Innovations Unveiled at World Ag Expo
This February, the ag industry descended upon Tulare, Calif. for the 43rd World Ag Expo "Powering Global Agriculture," the world's largest exposition celebrating innovation in agriculture. More than 1,600 exhibitors displayed the latest in farm equipment, communications and technology, and offered numerous seminars on topics important to all aspects of agriculture.
Real California Cheesemakers Win Big and Bring Home 15 Awards at 2009 World Cheese Awards Competition
The World Cheese Awards are heralded as the "largest and most cosmopolitan cheese awards on the planet," and California's cow's milk cheesemakers were honored with 15 awards at the 2009 World Cheese Awards hosted October 1-3 in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (Canary Islands).

Real California Cheese Turns 25! Since its adoption in 1984, the Real California Cheese seal has taken the country by storm! Born from an effort to promote California’s booming cheese industry, the seal’s certification mark was created to assure consumers were purchasing natural cheese made in California exclusively with milk sourced from California’s dairy families. |

Since its adoption in 1984, the Real California Cheese seal has taken the country by storm! Born from an effort to promote California’s booming cheese industry, the seal’s certification mark was created to assure consumers were purchasing natural cheese made in California exclusively with milk sourced from California’s dairy families.
It's been two years since the CMAB introduced the Real California Milk seal to help consumers identify milk produced by one of California's 1,700 dairy farms and products made from this milk.

California's cheese industry dates back to the Gold Rush when many pioneers who trekked to California brought along dairy cows as a way of supplying milk to their families.In 1860, California's dairy cow population reached 100,000 and the growing milk supply stimulated the start of our thriving cheese industry.
