Whole Grain Maple Yogurt Muffins

Ingredients:

– 2 1/3 cup spelt flour – ½ tsp salt – 1 tsp baking powder – 1 tsp baking soda – 1 ½ tsp cinnamon – ¼ tsp nutmeg – 2 tbsp oil – ½ cup apple sauce – 2 6oz containers of Real California maple yogurt – 2 tbsp maple syrup – 1 tsp vanilla – 1 egg – ½ cup walnuts

Directions:

Beat together wet ingredients. Once mixed, stir in dry ingredients (except walnuts). Fold in walnuts. Divide batter among 12 muffin tins (mostly filled to the top). Bake for 18 minutes at 400 degrees. Store in the refrigerator or on the counter and eat within 3-4 days!
