California Dairy Innovations Unveiled at World Ag Expo
This February, the ag industry descended upon Tulare, Calif. for the 43rd World Ag Expo "Powering Global Agriculture," the world's largest exposition celebrating innovation in agriculture. More than 1,600 exhibitors displayed the latest in farm equipment, communications and technology, and offered numerous seminars on topics important to all aspects of agriculture.
California dairy producers have a long heritage of innovation in the industry, and the World Ag Expo is often the forum where producers are able to showcase their advancements. Recent Ag Expos have unveiled the latest in dairy cow care, including bedding and waterbeds, feed and dairy management technology, and even trucks that can utilize power harnessed from the methane produced by cows - that's right: the cow-powered truck!
The 43rd World Ag Expo showcased the continued innovation of California dairy producers working to develop more efficient methods of dairying.
